Cycling’s governing body has no comment after Tyler Hamilton says Lance Armstrong used PEDs

Cycling’s governing body says only Tyler Hamilton and Lance Armstrong can comment on Hamilton’s claims that he saw the seven-time Tour de France winner take banned performance-enhancing drugs.
Spokesman Enrico Carpani says the UCI is aware of Hamilton’s allegations, made during a “60 Minutes” interview, but “only via the press.”

Speaking Friday by telephone to The Associated Press, Carpani said only Hamilton and Armstrong “are in a position to comment on it.”
Hamilton told “60 Minutes” reporter Scott Pelley that he saw Armstrong inject the banned blood-boosting drug EPO “more than one time.”
Armstrong denies doping and has never failed a drug test.
