In case you haven’t heard, the cool thing to do during the NBA playoffs is to start a rumor about an NBA player having sex with a woman close to LeBron James.
Last year, we found out James was awful against Boston because it was rumored that the bi-polar Delonte West had sex with the King’s mother.
That rumor was hysterical, but it made perfect sense. LeBron’s mother and West made an awesome couple. Gun-toting daddy West would make a great father figure for LeBron.
This year, there is a rumor circulated that Washington Wizards outcast Rashard Lewis had sex with James’ girlfriend, Savannah Brinson, when he was down in South Beach, according to Jason Weintraub of Hip Hop Wired.
Although not as funny as last year’s sex scandal, this rumor is clearly taking its toll on LeBron. I mean come on, can this guy catch a break? Last year was bad enough and he was forced to shun the fans of Cleveland because of it.
Now, LeBron is in the bright lights of South Beach and has to hear about Rashard giving it to his girl? I mean seriously, Rashard Lewis? Dude wasn’t even in the playoffs this year! How embarrassing for the King.
At least Delonte was in the postseason last year and this year. We’re going to have to start questioning Savannah’s taste in men, even if these are just rumors—to go from the King to a pawn? Well, that’s just inexcusable.
LeBron has been crumbling in the fourth quarter with ugly performances each and every time in this series, just like the beloved woman of his life is rumored to be crumbling to the seduction of an ugly and average adversary.
