‘Basketball Wives’ season 3: Everything you need to know

VH1’s “Basketball Wives” returns to your television set on May 30th, and whether you’re dying for some trashy reality TV to fill the void of “Love and Hip Hop,” or you just can’t wait to see more violent confrontations between Evelyn Lozada and Tami Roman, here’s your official guide to what promises to be an insane third season.
WHAT’S NEW?
How about a brand new basketball wife?  Meeka Claxton joins an already overcrowded cast as the wife of retired player and current scout Speedy Claxton.  Meeka is a self-made businesswoman who also plays the role of mom to two young girls.  Claxton has no ties to the current “Wives,” so it’ll be interesting to see if and when she picks sides.
WHAT CAN WE LOOK FORWARD TO?
Conflct and drama—the two reasons we sit through shows about people we don’t know, living lives we really don’t care about.
There’s no love lost between Tami and Evelyn, obviously.  We all remember Evelyn’s ill-timed comment about Tami’s ex, resulting in the even more ill-advised “non-factor!” comment.
Jennifer and Tami may still have some lingering issues after Jennifer’s high and mighty attitude towards stamps.  Last season, Jennifer also made it clear her marriage with Eric Williams was headed to divorce court.
Expect her friends to push her back into the dating game.
And, of course, another season of “Basketball Wives” means more Chad Ochocinco.  Evelyn is engaged to the NFL wide receiver, and we all know Chad’s never met a camera he didn’t like.  Expect Ocho to get plenty of screen time.
