RuneScape players can obtain the wildstalker hat for free now in Edgeville. The wildstalker hat is available for F2P RuneScape players, but only members can perform the emotes on the hat and register kill counts.

The wildstalker hat keeps track of wilderness kills and similar stats, whether it is worn, in inventory, or in bank. RuneScape players unlock a brag emote and can morph into a statue once they reach ten kills. Kills prior to the May 25, 2011 release do not register.
In a move contrary to recent attempts to separate F2P RuneScape from P2P RuneScape, former and current members maintain the ability to perform the emotes in a F2P world. This ability would appear to be a step back from a series of recent Jagex updates that disabled agility helping in a free world and removed members’ options for agility shortcuts, NPCs, and other members’ context.
